Death of ALTA Committee Member

It is with great sadness that we have to report that Roy Pitman died on 7th January 2006, aged 80. Roy was a founder member of ALTA and a former Chairman. His diligent efforts over the past fourteen years have been an example and inspiration to us all. He continued to represent ALTA at out-patient clinics and on the wards during 2005, despite problems with his own health. We send our deepest sympathies to his wife Anne and to his family.
