Successful London Marathon Run

Elaine Burnett and her friend Val Miller came to C9 on 20 May 2004 to present a cheque for £2,200 to ALTA.

Val successfully competed in the London Marathon in April and raised the £2,200 in sponsorship to say thank you for the help and support given to Elaine and her family when she had a life-saving liver and kidney transplant last year.

Elaine did help Val with her training - she rang her every night to make sure that she was following the training regime!
